En esta fecha celebramos la recogida de la siembra, es una fecha de paz, ya que durante esta época del año los hombres volvían de sus negocios y los campesinos recogían sus cosechas. Eran días de paz y recogimiento. Nosotros actualmente, hacemos un balance del año y damos gracias a los dioses por el trabajo realizado y por los frutos recogidos.
Es un día dedicado a Thor, Frey y la madre Tierra y nosotros recordamos especialmente el momento descrito en las eddas que Loki roba el cabello dorado de Sif, la esposa de Thor, y que posteriormente recupera en forma de cabellera de oro. Es por eso que este día ofrecemos a Thor una ofrenda
